Kevin Ra

CloseAbility Founder & Chief Content Officer

Kevin is a real estate investor and network engineer from Cleveland, Ohio. He has bought and sold over 500 properties and closed more than 1,000 short sales. As an acquisition consultant, he helped build the largest urban residential real estate portfolio in Cleveland’s history. He also holds three U.S. patents for real estate transaction innovations and founded two companies in the industry. On top of that, he once argued a $1.6 billion lawsuit against the state and works as a licensed lobbyist.

Joanna Mae Cabrera

Co-Founder & Real Estate Title Abstractor

Joanna has spent over 10 years working in real estate title research and accounting. She started in 2012 as a Real Estate Title Examiner, learning how to solve complicated title problems. In 2017, she took a short break to work in accounting, but her passion for real estate brought her back. Since then, she’s been making sure property records are accurate and reliable. At CloseAbility, she played a key role in testing the platform to help real estate professionals handle tough title issues.

Exequiel Baluyot

Co-Founder & Lead Abstractor

Exequiel has over 10 years of experience in real estate abstracting and title examination. He started his career in 2010 at American Data Exchange, where he became an expert in researching property records. Later, he joined Parcel Revenue and played a key role in developing CloseAbility, using his skills in spreadsheets and quality control. His deep knowledge of title clearing helped shape CloseAbility into a strong tool for real estate professionals. Exequiel’s attention to detail and problem-solving skills make him a trusted expert in the industry.

June Corpuz

Co-Founder

June has a strong background in business, software development, and automating processes. He started his career at Accenture, where he helped his team work 80% more efficiently by automating reports in Excel. Since 2018, he’s worked as a freelance AppSheet Developer, building over 500 custom apps for more than 200 companies around the world. In 2020, he became a Senior AppSheet Developer at Parcel Revenue, where he helped create tools to make title clearing easier. As a co-founder of CloseAbility, June used his skills to help develop the platform, making real estate processes faster and more accurate.
